Our Story
Pets Purest was founded in 2017 by Oli and Evie Bristowe, and it started with a problem many pet parents will recognise.
Their dog was dealing with ongoing itchy skin, and nothing they tried seemed to get to the root of it. So they started looking closer at what their dog was being fed and given every day. The more they read labels, the more they noticed how common grains, fillers, bulking agents and unnecessary additives were across the pet world, even in products that were meant to support health.
That experience led to a bigger realisation: itchy skin, sensitive digestion, low energy, joint stiffness, a dull coat, these are often the last signs something’s been building for a while. And while there’s sometimes a place for targeted support, Oli and Evie believed the foundation is usually the same. Real health starts from the inside out, and nutrition plays a central role in how the body functions over time.
That belief became Pets Purest.
From the beginning, the focus was natural supplements and treats made with ingredients chosen for a clear nutritional purpose. No “extra” ingredients just to bulk things out. Just clean, purposeful formulations made with care.
Pets Purest is built on the idea that what you leave out matters just as much as what you put in. That’s why we keep things simple and free from anything unnecessary. No artificial chemicals. No synthetic preservatives. No fillers. Just ingredients that play a real role in everyday wellbeing.
Our approach is about nature and nutrition working together. We believe nature often knows best when it’s respected and used properly. And rather than chasing quick fixes, we take a steady, long-term view, supporting pets gently and consistently through everyday routines, from puppyhood through to their older years.
As a UK family-run business, we focus on clarity, simplicity, and trust. Our aim is to make natural pet nutrition easier to understand and easier to use, so you can feel confident about the choices you make every day.
Because caring for pets isn’t about louder promises or more ingredients. It’s about choosing well, nourishing properly, and helping the animals we love feel their best for as long as possible.
